A demo store on “1C-Bitrix: Site Management” with the Veriqa module. Instead of filling in a registration form, the visitor signs in with MAX, the messaging app in this recording: they scan a QR code and confirm on their phone. The store’s interface is in Russian.

What the video shows

  1. On the store’s sign-in page, the visitor clicks Войти через мессенджер (“Sign in with a messaging app”).
  2. The sign-in window shows a QR code, and the visitor points their phone camera at it.
  3. In MAX, the bot asks them to confirm the sign-in to the store and names where the request came from: Chrome on Windows. The visitor taps Подтвердить (“Confirm”).
  4. The sign-in window shows that the sign-in is confirmed, and the store opens the visitor’s account page.

The article

«18% покупателей бросают корзину из-за регистрации. Как убрать её на сайте на Битрикс с помощью MAX» on vc.ru, in Russian. According to the Baymard Institute, 18% of shoppers who abandon a cart for a reason other than just browsing do so because the site wanted them to create an account. The article shows how to replace that step with a sign-in through MAX: deploy Veriqa, create a MAX bot, install the module from the Marketplace and add the button to the registration form. The module works through the stock “Social services” module, so the site’s core needs no changes.
